Dr. Neufeld has been providing office-based vision therapy services in Calgary since 2003. He has since attended hundreds of hours of continuing education courses in vision therapy, binocular vision, neuro-optometry, and visual information processing.
Calgary Vision Therapy has a warm referral relationship with local eye care professionals, accepting referrals for children and adults with concerns about binocular vision efficiency, eye teaming, accommodation, visual tracking, and visual processing difficulties that are impacting learning or daily function.
Many of these patients continue to receive their routine eye health and refractive care from their primary optometrist. Our team takes great care to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress with the referring doctor and to return the patient for ongoing optometric care once therapy is concluded.
In 2010, Dr. Neufeld opened Calgary Vision Therapy, Calgary’s first and only exclusive Vision Therapy office dedicated to this area of care.
Our sole clinical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision disorders and visual information-processing problems. The clinic does not provide routine eye exams or sell glasses or contact lenses. This allows us to dedicate additional time and resources to complex functional vision cases.
