Dr. Palki Arora, OD, FOVDR, FAAO
Board-Certified Neuro-Optometrist, Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation
Dr. Arora has over 10 years of experience specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision and visual processing disorders. Calgary Vision Therapy is one of the longest-standing vision therapy practices in Calgary and the city’s first dedicated vision therapy-only clinic. With a strong focus on individualized, evidence-based care, Dr. Arora and her team help both children and adults in improving their visual function and performance.
Dr. Arora graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from the University of Calgary and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree on the Dean’s Honours List from the University of Waterloo. She has completed extensive postdoctoral training, including dual Fellowships with the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (FOVDR) and the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO). Dr. Arora is among a select group of optometrists in Canada to hold both designations and is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in optometric research and clinical care. Dr. Arora is board-certified in vision therapy and neuro-visual rehabilitation, helping patients achieve their best possible visual outcomes. She is the past President of the Calgary Society of Optometrists and serves on the Vision Development and Rehabilitation Subcommittee of the Alberta Association of Optometrists, contributing to the advancement of vision rehabilitation and developmental optometry across Alberta. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Arora enjoys staying active, exploring new cuisines, and spending quality time with her family. She looks forward to helping new patients and families achieve stronger visual function, improved comfort, and greater confidence through personalized vision therapy care.
